Honda Civic Aerodeck (Estate) 1.6 petrol MOT until December 2014 (see details below) NO road tax (currently SORN) CD Player Cream interior Air Con (never really used but seems to work fine) 5 seats Electric windows Great boot space Pretty good on fuel (only a 1.6) Low mileage Practical, easy to drive car with a great engine. Great car - drives nicely, I have maintained it well. There are some issues so please read further on for details. The engine is very good as you'd expect from a Honda and this has very low mileage for the age. Never had any issues with the engine. Only issues I've had are age related none serious things including: Replacing parts of exhaust New handbrake cable New rear brake callipers Have some paper work from previous MOT's etc but some is missing as moved house and some older paperwork is in storage. I have recently bought a newer car and this car is no longer needed. *PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING* OK here's bits you should be aware of. I'm going to list everything I can think of even if pretty small so you get a good picture of the car but for the age this is a great car I just want to be honest with all potential buyers. The car flew through its last MOT with no repairs or advisories at all. However, in the last few weeks I noticed that the car was very occasional juddering when braking hard. I have had a friend have a very brief look at it (he's not a mechanic just knowledgeable about cars) and couldn't see much wear on the brakes so thinks it may be a front calliper. This may or may not be correct - this is his thoughts. The exhaust: Despite having parts of the exhaust replaced over the last year (2 parts I believe) I am starting to hear a blowing noise again. Not had anyone look but presume it's the last piece of the exhaust which wasn't swapped or possibly a weld. Fan belt: Started getting noisy recently so I'd suggest replacing it. The heater: Number 1 and 2 fan settings don't work only 3 and 4. I believe this may be a fuse, but again these are thoughts and not facts The windscreen: Looks like a replacement screen was fitted at one point and they've done a bit of a bad job on replacing the plastic surrounds etc. I think this is probably an easy fix but I've lived with it for 2 years+ and not bothered me...I think it may reduce road noise in cabin if sorted but only slightly. The windows: Nothing wrong with them just sometimes a bit slow but think this is down to the age of the car Bodywork: Overall pretty good however there is a big scratch on front bumper (my fault) and a line of dents on one of the wings above the front wheel arch caused by someone dropping scaffolding on it (that one wasn't my fault). The rear wiper arm is rusty. ***The car is fine to drive and has a current MOT but if anything you may want to get the brakes checked out and change the fan belt*** I've have tried to list all known issues (and managed to make the car sound a lot worse than it is in doing so) and therefore am SELLING AS SEEN. This car is solid but with all cars this age they need upkeep as things on them get old and need replacing - anyone who says different is kidding you on. The main thing with this car is you are buying a Honda and Honda engines are bulletproof. This one has less than 77,000 miles on it and they will happily go 200,000 miles if looked after. As I said before I've never had issues with the engine and if you look after it it will keep going for a very long time. The car is currently stored at my work (it's SORN remember) but am happy for people to come and take a look and take for a test drive.
